Just Touring 2014 is about to start!!!!
7 guys (1 newbie) are about to embark on a tour of the southern US states.
Starting in Nashville, the gang of trusty Amigos will follow the Natchez Trace to Natchez Missouri. From there, our brave leader has a surprise next location (watch this space for more info) and then, via the secret route, we will spend some time in San Antonio, to visit the Alamo, River Walk and other historical sites. From there, up to Kerrville, to ride the Three Twisted Sisters for a few days and then, via back roads, to the Ozarks in Arkansas, a hilly area dominated by G1 and G2 roads. G1 and G2 are designated best roads to ride a motorbike on as rated by Butler Motorcycle adventure maps. Josh is bringing his iPhone banjo to serenade the toothless inhabitants of Ozark backroads and keep us safe. Of course, the sacrificial newbie has a role as well.

The riders are:
- Tom (commando) Kowalski: Ride Leader
- Dave (the goalie) Phelan: Ride "Yoda"
- Cipi (hans) Potinteu: Poet and 4Loco connoisseur who penned the ode that is the genesis for our tour series: "Just Touring" (pronounced Too-rink)
- Jeff (the fixer) Sollak: Fearless leader of the ruthless Sollak motorcycle gang (actually, he's the ceremonial leader - the show is really run by Kathleen)
- Josh (teach) Sollak: Karaoke star, dog walker and gnome
- Ryan (newbie) Sollak: So much to learn
- Mike (franz) May: Tech guy who brings all the toys
Dave and Cipi braved a terrible storm system to ride in advance of the Suburban team and managed to get wet .... very wet. This is what they drove through (their path was right in the middle of the storm):
The rest of the guys get to drive down in the gang ride; a GMC Suburban pulling the trailer with the bikes.
We have a Spot tracker for the trip as well so you can follow us along the adventures as it unfolds. Bookmark the link and you can peek in on the ride any time.
Note: the spotwalla page is not working right now so you can follow us on the spot page
